Gambling bill dies in Florida House

http://www.news-press.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2012120203012

Congratulations to all who worked hard lobbying
against Destination Casinos, to all who called,
visited and wrote letters to their elected officials.

A special thanks to Rep. Gary Aubuchon who
declared the bill dead for this year and all other
Representatives and Senators who have been
opposing these casinos.

But…we must remain diligent.  Something could
happen at the last minute of session.

Other bills that need attention this session are
Internet Cafes and Dog Track Slots.

Stand up for Florida
No Gambling Expansion!

No Mega Destination Casinos!
No Neighborhood Storefront Casinos!

You are the last line of defense!
TIME TO MOBILIZE

Senate President Haridopolis has hand picked his committee chairs to guarantee passage of gambling expansion next January.  That means a minimum of 3 mega destination casinos in our Florida. There is legislative talk of trading Storefront Casinos for Destination Casinos.  Some of our good senators and representatives like the idea of eliminating storefronts in exchange for destination.  OUCH!  We must reject both!

An army of casino lobbyists are working everyday to make it
happen.  Legislators are hearing no other voice.
WE NEED YOUR VOICE - NOW!!!! MMMTake action
